Early, and subject to change
The world
A warm, lantern-lit corner of a storybook fantasy: mossy forests, a timber town and old stone ruins on the hills. None of it is playable yet, and all of it may change.
The mood
Lorehallow is the hour after sunset. Cottage windows glow, someone has lit the lanterns along the road, and fireflies are coming out at the edge of the woods. It's a cosy place first and a dangerous one second: the danger is out past the last lantern, in the deep forest and the ruins nobody remembers building.
The world starts small on purpose: one town and the land around it, handcrafted so every path leads somewhere. It grows only once that first place feels alive with people in it.
Places
- The town. Timber cottages with red roofs, a well, a market stall, an inn. Where players meet, trade and set out from.
- The mossy woods. Old oaks, ferns and mossy rocks. Wolves and worse, and paths that are easy to lose.
- The ruins. Broken arches and standing stones on the hills, older than the town and the start of most quests.
Names, places and the map are all still being worked out. Follow the devlog to see them take shape.
